Coach Jennifer Rouse
Coach Maddy Thiemann
Coach Thiemann is starting her fourth year teaching, and celebrating her first year at
Dutch Fork High School with the Dazzlers Dance Team. Growing up in Terre Haute, Indiana, she moved to South Carolina to attend Columbia College and study dance. While at Columbia College, she completed field experiences in Richland 1 and 2 schools, served as the President of the Columbia College chapter of the National Dance Education Organization, co-presented Dance Master Classes in New Orleans and in Denver, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Studies and Arts Management. She has been teaching dance for 8 years in the private studio sector. Before coaching and teaching at DFHS, she taught at Dutch Fork Middle and coached the DFMS Dazzlers Dance Team for three years.
Coach Rouse grew up in Nags Head, North Carolina and Lexington, South Carolina. After High School, she attended Columbia College to study dance and then found her way into teaching. She began working at a dance studio in Elgin, where she continues to teach after school. She has been teaching dance in the private studio sector for three years, and is in her first year with School District 5. Coach Rouse is excited to be at Dutch Fork Middle School, where she teaches four sections of dance education classes. As coach of the DFMS Dazzlers Dance Team, she coaches the dancers for C-Team athletic events, dance concerts, competitions and other performance events. Coach Rouse is a firm believer that all students should partake in the joy of dance and experience all it has to offer!
